The mind blog of a shadow conservative. There’s always a lot to say and if you don’t exercise your right to free speech, then you automatically lose it. This conservatory is a blog and an archive for the conservative mind. It will be filled with news headlines, opinions and memes from the darkest corner of the Internet known as social media. Why a conservatory? Because politics and current events are an art form unto themselves; a careful dance of cause and effect. And it should be documented from the conservative perspective somewhere.
Times are strange and they’re getting stranger. With conservative-minded professionals on the target for pretty much every far-left liberal looking to echo-chamber the country, it’s my hope this conservatory is here to stay and that you, the reader, will be left thinking about what is important to you.
To be clear about my own stance on what it means to be a Conservative, I will state that I’m more of a middle-field person. I don’t believe the ends justify the means in today’s turbulent headlines. I despise the modern-day witch-hunt of the people who are attacking conservatives standing up for free speech. I despise the ignorant crowds believing everything they see online as God-spoken truth. Those who react without first thinking put the masses at risk. I’ve been guilty of it at times, but the conservatory you’re viewing is my attempt to slow things down and critically understand what I see.
“You will never do anything in this world without courage. It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor.”― Aristotle
