The Shadow Conservatory

These are some scary times we live in. So what do I do? I start a personal blog online to speak my mind about the events of today. The year is 2021- and a lot of history occurred in 2020 that led us to where we are now. People are confused, hurt, scared, separated and wondering. I think at this point there is nothing more important than blogging/ journaling the conservative point of view in the times ahead. Sometimes I’ll blog a lot, and sometimes maybe just an entry a day. This page will change over time.

Before you start with me, remember this is my online blog for the conservative minded- this is not an open social media forum where we are going to trade insults back and forth. As much as you would like to disagree publicly, you’re going to have to settle for sending me an email:

I’ve heard you’re supposed to add pictures and things to make a blog interesting, so eventually I will. Here there will also be links to news stories that you won’t find on main-stream media as well as my commentary. It’s for you to decide if it’s completely off or if maybe there is just a smidgeon of truth hiding in there that is just inconvenient.

As I write this morning, I have deleted Twitter and changed Facebook accounts completely. Sometimes you just have to restart your online presence, you know? Sometimes, eliminating the drudge is what’s needed.

Will I write things here that people don’t want to hear? Probably. I’m hoping that at least some bastion of free speech exists and if it’s not here, then where is it? Don’t tell me that it’s in another country altogether. The United States of America once prided itself on the ability to speak freely. It was founded for freedom. But even the founding fathers knew that this was not something that would be kept for free.

“On the final day of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, when our Constitution was adopted, Americans gathered on the steps of Independence Hall to await the news of the government our founders had crafted. They asked Benjamin Franklin, ‘What do we have, a republic or a monarchy?’ Franklin replied, ‘A republic, if you can keep it.’”

  1. I’m glad you’re doing this. I can’t believe how this country is falling so quickly. It’s almost like we’re dreaming. I also can’t believe how many people are completely oblivious and actually think regular people are somehow bad. I would like to do something like this too but I suck at writing. I’m going to quit using my Gmail and just use my own domain email but I have to update some stuff first. Keep it up! You are an inspiration!
